This month’s theme is Cubstruction. Scouts will take on fun building challenges, try their hand at creative construction projects, and learn how planning and teamwork can make big ideas come to life.
Learn what life was like as a hobo during the Great Depression. Scouts will speak the hobo language, cook hobo stew, construct Hoover shacks, and listen to railroad stories in our hobo jungle. After cleanup the next morning, you can roam around the museum to learn more about the National Railroad Museum and the great […]
Bring your 6 essentials and hike the John Muir Trail. Meet at the trail head and we will either hike the kids loop or brown loop, or a combination of the two.
Our February theme is STEM. Building on our Cubstruction theme last month, which focused more on the building and construction side of things, this month Scouts will have fun making mini robots and science experiments.
Bring your 6 essentials as we hike around the Retzer Nature Center. This date and/or time could change as they have previously had a twilight hike in February. Until their schedule comes out, we will plan for this date and time.
Scouts will work with their parents ahead of time to cut, design, and build their very own pinewood derby car, then race it down the track in friendly competition. This year’s theme is Sweet Treats, so bring your most creative (and delicious looking) designs to the race! Stick around after the races for a derby-themed […]
This special evening celebrates the anniversary of Scouting with food, fun, and fellowship. Families gather to share a meal, recognize our Scouts’ achievements, and enjoy entertainment and activities together. It’s also a time to honor our Arrow of Light Scouts as they cross over into Scouts BSA.
To the Rescue! This month’s theme focuses on safety of all kinds and what to do in an emergency.
Bring your 6 essentials on a hike around Aztalan State Park. This park is a National Historic Landmark and contains one of Wisconsin’s most important archaeological sites, showcasing an ancient Middle-Mississippian village that thrived between A.D. 1000 and 1300.
This month’s theme is Cubservation. Scouts will explore conservation and environmental stewardship through hands-on activities, games, and projects. From learning about wildlife and recycling to understanding how to protect our natural resources, Scouts will discover how even small actions can make a big difference.
