Our theme this month is Cubsgiving. Scouts and families will come together to celebrate the season of gratitude and giving! We’ll enjoy fun games, team activities, and a chance to reflect on what we’re thankful for. Scouts will also take part in a meaningful service project to help those in need in our community.
Bring your 6 essentials on a hike around the Horicon Marsh. We will start at the visitor center and hike along the different trails.
Our December theme is Scout Skills. Scouts will learn outdoor skills such as knot tying, first aid, and fire building.
Bring your 6 essentials on a hike around Lapham Peak. Meet at the Homestead parking lot.
’Tis the season to celebrate with your Pack! Come dressed in your ugliest (or silliest) Christmas sweater and join us for an evening of holiday fun. We’ll enjoy festive crafts, games, and a graham cracker house decorating contest.
This month’s theme is Cubstruction. Scouts will take on fun building challenges, try their hand at creative construction projects, and learn how planning and teamwork can make big ideas come to life.
Learn what life was like as a hobo during the Great Depression. Scouts will speak the hobo language, cook hobo stew, construct Hoover shacks, and listen to railroad stories in our hobo jungle. Bring your 6 essentials and hike the John Muir Trail. Meet at the trail head and we will either hike the kids loop or brown loop, or a combination of the two.
Our February theme is STEM. Building on our Cubstruction theme last month, which focused more on the building and construction side of things, this month Scouts will have fun making mini robots and science experiments.
Bring your 6 essentials as we hike around the Retzer Nature Center. This date and/or time could change as they have previously had a twilight hike in February. Until their schedule comes out, we will plan for this date and time.
