All About Webelos
The Webelos Den is for youth in 4th grade. “Webelos” stands for “WE’ll BE LOyal Scouts,” and this rank marks the transition from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA. It’s a time of growing maturity, new challenges, and preparing for the next level of Scouting. Scouts begin to take the lead in activities and decision-making.
The Webelos program focuses on:
- Outdoor adventure
- Personal responsibility
- Teamwork
- Leadership
The Webelos program helps Scouts gain confidence and self-reliance, setting them up for success as they move toward the Arrow of Light rank and eventual transition into Scouts BSA.
Required Adventures
To advance from Webelos to the next Cub Scout rank (Arrow of Light), Webelos must complete the following:

Stronger, Faster, Higher
My Family
Elective Adventures
In addition to the six required adventures above, Webelos must also complete at least (2) of the following electives:
