All About Bears
The Bear Den is for youth in 3rd grade. At this stage, Cub Scouts begin to take greater initiative and show more independence in their adventures. The Bear program is packed with hands-on learning, creative problem-solving, and outdoor fun. Scouts take more responsibility for their work, while still guided by their Den Leader and family.
The Bear program focuses on:
- Practical life skills
 - Citizenship
 - Outdoor adventure
 - Personal responsibility
 
The Bear Den encourages Scouts to grow in confidence and capability while continuing to explore new skills and experiences with their peers.
Required Adventures
To advance from Bear to the next Cub Scout rank (Webelos), Bears must complete the following:

Elective Adventures
In addition to the six required adventures above, Bears must also complete at least (2) of the following electives:
